A Measure Of Faith
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. Romans 12:3
A Measure Of Faith has been given to every man. God does not send anyone to Hades, Hell, a place of torment. He desires that all would come to know the truth.
This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4.
God does not take away our free choice. He may knock on our hearts door multiple times, but it is our choice to ignore that knock and to turn away and say I don't need him. I am sure when this life is over and we have rejected God, we will remember the times he knocked on our hearts door. Each of us is given a measure of faith, enough to chose God if we so desire. It is our choice. God is a gentleman, he knocks and asks to come in. We can say no, it is our choice. I would recommend if God knocks on your hearts door, to say yes and try God for just a while. What have you got to lose? Is there anything in this life that you have to give up to become a Christian? He takes you just as you are, where you are. In fact it is not a result of works any of us have done. God does not want us to think it is because we have done so good. It is because of Jesus and his paying for our sins. If we chose to believe in Jesus, God does the work in our hearts as we trust him. We have the ability to chose Jesus or we can say no. God does not take away our free choice. We each have been given enough faith, it requires faith, not works, but faith to except Jesus as Lord and Savior. Sin entered the world way back in creation in the Garden of Eden and it has influenced our world ever since. The hatred and the destruction we see in the lives of so many is because of sin. Jesus is the only one that can change a heart. Jesus is the only one that can clean it up. There are no other roads to God. If there had been another way, Jesus did not need to die on a cruel cross. But there was no other way than a sacrifice to atone for sin. Jesus was that sacrifice, he did it for me and for you. We have a choice, it is ours to make, no one can make it for us. We either say yes or no to God. It is our choice. God bless, LVZ.

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29
