Craziness

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.  Ephesians 6:12

I believe this scripture explains the craziness we see going on in our country today. I said many months ago if we win it is because Christians got on their knees and petitioned almighty God on behalf of our nation. It is a spiritual war we are in. Check what type of spirit controls those fighting the President God gave us. Christians would have been OK no matter who would win. Our God is always on his throne and God is sovereign. We don't always understand what he is doing or why. I never understood why he gave us Obama and when I see the evil that comes from that administration, I still wonder why. But God has gotten his people praying for their President, and that is a good thing. Through the years as I looked at my own life, and the influences that controlled me. It was as I gave my life over to God that sanity came back in. That influence that was contrary to God's word and his will, wreaked havoc in my life. As I blogged recently about the 4 chairs, I see people every day that feel they are OK if sometime in the past they prayed a sinners prayer. Some live anyway they want to Monday through Saturday and then Sunday go to church, thinking they are saved. God wants to be sovereign in our lives. He wants control of our hearts.  I see some that will state, you don't need to go to church to be a Christian, and I agree with that statement. Many CME's people that only go to church on Christmas, Mothers Day and Easter are not Christian. Being a Christian requires a heart surrendered to God. The same people that make that statement, you don't have to go to Church to be a Christian have not surrendered their hearts to God. If you truly love God, I believe you would want to be in his house and worship him when the doors are open. In the last year I have seen two individuals that have been going to church for years finally surrendered their hearts and lives to Jesus. They learned to be Christian in action and speech, but their heart was not in it. The battle going on today is for the hearts of mankind. If your heart does not follow God, it has another master. No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Luke 16:13 We will serve someone, that is they way we are designed. If God is heaven is not sovereign in your life, you will find another master. God desires the hearts of man, does he have yours. Does it show in your actions? Does it show in the spirit you display? Do you try to obey God's word to the best of your ability? God is sovereign in this world, is he sovereign in your heart? If he knocks on your hearts door. let him in. I have experienced his love in my life and heard the testimonies of many. You will not be sorry. God is the God of peace. He wants our hearts. With him comes peace in the middle of trouble.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. God bless, LVZ.
