Knowledge is Increased

But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. Daniel 12:4
This is what many refer to as a sign of the end times, and knowledge shall be increased. In the book I am currently reading, the author talks about how knowledge is increasing. "The Return of King Jesus"  is the title of the book by Rick Coram. Here is some info taken from this book.  Up until the year 1900 the world's knowledge doubled every hundred years. By the end of World War II, knowledge was doubling every 25 years. Today, nanotechnology is doubling every two years. Clinical knowledge is doubling every 18 months. Any time I want info, I can google it. My IPhone is much more powerful than my first home computer that I bought in the late 1990's. I can find a map anytime I travel on my phone. I can take pictures with it and really don't remember the last time I took a picture with a camera. When I was still working which is now 5 years ago, it seemed there was a major engineering advancement every 5 years. This is just one of the signs of Jesus return to earth. The Bible has many prophecies in it and the thing about God's prophecies is they are incredibly accurate. I remember a year or so ago we studied some Prophecies in the book of Ezekiel. One we looked at in the 26 chapter was about the city Tyre on the Mediterranean Sea. It talked about how the city would be destroyed and thrown into the sea down to the bare rocks and fisherman would dry their nets on those rocks. Alexander the Great came along and to protect themselves the City of Tyre moved to an Island off the coast and Alexander the Great had his army build a causeway to the Island. They tore down the city on the coast down to and including the foundations. scraped the soil down to the rocks to build that causeway to conquer the City of Tyre.  You can Google Tyre.  I did about a year or so ago. When God says it will happen, it will happen. Is not this prophecy about knowledge increasing already fulfilled with the increase of knowledge we see today? Knowledge increasing is just one of the signs. But many will not believe. Jesus is our hope and to be ready for the end of the age we must accept Jesus as Savior and Lord of our lives. No man knows the exact day or hour of his Second Coming, but the signs of the time say it is close. Will I live a full life and pass over to the other side via the grave. I don't know, I really don't know. The generation that saw Israel come back as a nation is to be the last generation. What does the Bible mean by a generation? Some have tried to figure it out and set a date for the return of King Jesus but the Bible also says no man knows the day nor the hour. It used to be a shouting sermon in my childhood to hear about the Second Coming of Jesus. The Bible tells us to be ready. Years have come and gone and I am still here, but I am ready should I depart this earth. Look at your phone, it is an example of the increased knowledge in our world today. It does amazing things because of the increased knowledge and technology and the materials used in todays phones. Be ready, because we do not know the day or the hour. God bless, LVZ.
