A Choice

 People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the LORD. Proverbs 19:3 (NLT). Interesting Proverb and as I read it I thought back to a time in my life when I was angry with God. I guess I blamed him for what imperfect people did. He made us that is true, but he gives us free choice, we make decisions every day to follow God or to not follow God. God's way is the best way but often we fail at living life God's way. Do we blame God for the choices we make? He gives us free choice. If we end up in hell it is because we chose to be there. I often think of the time I returned to being a Jesus follower, the evangelist made a statement or actually asked a question, what have you done with Jesus? Have you accepted him as Savior and Lord or have you rejected him. If you ever had a time in your life when God confronted you and asked you to follow him, you said either Yes or No. If we said yes, we did an about face from the way we were headed and started walking a different direction. If we said no, we chose a life without him. It was our choice. God bless, LVZ.
