A Thousand Years

2Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

3You turn people back to dust,
saying, “Return to dust, you mortals.”
4A thousand years in your sight
are like a day that has just gone by,
or like a watch in the night.    Psalm 90:2-4
One thing that stands out to me here is a thousand years in God's sight are like a day that has just gone by. God created time, and he can mess with it any time he wants.  As God did in Joshua chapter ten.  Astronomers have found that one full day is missing in our astronomical calculations and they trace it back to the day of Joshua.  Many have tried to explain this happening in many ways and want to dispute that this could happen. The God of creation that set the delicate balance in the universe could do this and he alone. There is a lengthy article that speaks on this subject, I have copied the link here:   https://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/don_stewart/don_stewart_625.cfm
The God of creation, that formed the earth, that created time in the first place, why could he not do this? It is God that holds the universe in its delicate balance. God who knows everyone of our days before one of them comes to be. What an awesome God that created all that is and still answers the prayers of man. Our days are numbered, I do not know the number, but God does. God transcends time, he has been from the beginning and will bring us into an eternity. God bless, LVZ.
