Do Not Repay Evil For Evil

My thoughts this day for a moment turned to I wonder how fast I'd be arrested if I saw a prominent Leftist in a restaurant and poked my finger in their salad. I wonder what would happen if I got together with others and attacked Oprah house or say Whoopi Goldberg's home and crashed into her front door. Could I scale the fence around Maxine Waters home in California. I assume she has a fence, I really have no idea. What about damaging Bill and Hillary's home in New York.  What if I was in DC and saw one of these eating at a restaurant and caused a scene?

Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9

That is not what God tells us to do.  In fact God tells us in his word specifically in the passage listed above in 1 Peter to actually bless them.  I know it seems unfair that the left can be a dirty and as crooked as the day is long. If we maintain our integrity, we will be blessed.  We have not treated the champions of the left like Obama and Clinton in the same fashion. And we must continue to do what is right. I felt it unfortunate that we lost the majority in the house in this election on Tuesday.  One thing to remember is God is still in charge. God is still on his throne and these people can only go as far as God allows. Our real goal is not peace on earth. We have a heavenly address in mind. If we endure injustice here below, it is OK, because eternity is coming. All things will be made right at that time. You can count on it. It may not happen as soon as we feel it should. Many have been down this road before us. Abraham waited until he was an old man before he received his son of promise. Jesus felt betrayed and alone on the cross, My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?  But God that sent our earth into orbit around the sun, is still keeping it going. He has not announced his coming, but it really could happen any day. We can leave here any time. Only God knows the number of my days. Sometimes we get weary looking at the unfairness or our world. Sin is like a cancer and it destroys. I believe most do not even realize the sin that is dominant in the lives of so many of these that do such evil as we have seen. I don't think they are aware. I could be wrong and they might be knowingly doing these things, knowing they are wrong. But I would really like to think they do not know better.
Do not say, "I will avenge this evil!" Wait on the LORD, and He will deliver you. Proverbs 20:22
bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Luke 6:28
Bless those who persecute you. Bless and do not curse. Romans 12:14
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody. Romans 12:17
Make sure that no one repays evil for evil. Always pursue what is good for one another and for all people. 1 Thessalonians 5:15 
And there are more scriptures like this. Let us continue to do what is right in the eyes of God. I believe all of us do get weary at times and want to give back what they have given to our side. I want to be saved in the end. I will continue to try and do what is right. God sees what we do. I am reminded  of a time in Tacoma when my ex left me and to stay with a friend. As she was getting a few things, she asked if she could come back on the weekends. I said No, if you leave you leave.  For some reason I thought she was going to stay with a woman friend. When I found out she had moved in with a man, I was very angry. I set out to break windows that day I found out. Tire wrench in hand I was headed up to her apartment to break out windows either in the car or apartment or both. But God was watching, and he sent me a telephone call on my cell phone, and someone persuaded me that what I was planning g to do was not a good thing. Some years later I discovered a Mikey Mouse Trinket that belonged to her and I returned it to her via an acquaintance. The anger was gone. God is watching, keep doing what is right.  Joseph in the Bible would not sleep with his masters wife, because he too knew God was watching.  God bless, LVZ.
