I am not sure why I get visitors to this blog but not to lvzpage.com. I liked the format on the wordpress site. The only thing I like better here on blogspot is spell check because I use it often. I don't know what is happening in our country. It seems insane. In the politics we have two Democrats running for President, one as a Democrat and one as a Republican. Neither has the integrity the office of President needs. We had some very good candidates running but that is not what the majority of Americans wanted.  I see relatively healthy people leaving here to their eternity and yet in my family are a couple of people that are bedridden, and have been for a long time. I know it is in God's hands but I still wonder why. I pray for mercy, I don't know how else to pray. I pray for our country, but I really don't know what to say except God intervene, we need you. On the news, we hear of Tornado's in tornado alley as well as other places. We hear of this devastating fire in Alberta Canada, and just a few weeks ago were all these floods in Texas. We hear of cops being ambushed while doing their job protecting us. We are in an uproar over which bathroom to use and a couple of states that are trying to protect their people are coming under fire and being called racist. Yet I just read an article about Transgender people and this Psychiatrist claims it is a mental disorder and 70% = 80% "spontaneously lost those feelings" over time.  Suicide rate is 20% higher for transgender people than none transgender people. I think we need to treat  these people and not endanger a larger segment of the population by giving in to their sick demands. Our world is in trouble and God is the answer. We have natural disasters and disasters of our own  making. All these things should point out that we really need God. Please God intervene, we really need you. God bless, LVZ.

I see a lot of pro and con about both candidates on the news, face book,  wherever. I hear people not wanting to vote because it seems we have really scraped the bottom of the barrel for both parties this election. We need to vote. I believe it was Franklin Graham that said we may need to hold our noses shut as we walk to the polls this year, but if nothing else, we need to pick the lesser of two evils. I hear more and more about this email scandal and I believe if it was a conservative under investigation the liberals would not be so willing to look the other way. Other countries are contemplating turning over e-mails they hacked from Hillary's server. This is serious. She paid a man $5000.00 to commit a felony in setting up her e-mail. I believe she knew it was wrong but thinks she is above the law. That man's emails are totally absent from the server. I heard Bill Clinton compare this email scandal to getting a ticket for driving 40 miles an hour on the left lane of the freeway. It is not that simple, our security as a nation was possibly compromised more than we even know to this day. On the other side, I do not understand how Donald Trump a life long Democrat has become our Republican candidate. Perhaps this is God's doing. Perhaps he will be a good President if he wins. Or could it be God is still trying to get our attention as a Nation that has walked away form God. The heart of the King is like a river that God turns it what ever way he chooses. Sometimes it is to get our attention. Know this God is still in heaven and still holds life in his hands. We breathe as long as he gives us breath. He lets his rain fall on the just and the unjust alike.  Make no mistake, whoever wins the election in November is God's choice. I may not understand it, I may not like it, but believe God is sovereign.  I have not liked every President but if I believe God put the ones there I like in position, I must also believe God puts the ones I don't like in position as it pleases him. I just hope we have gotten God's attention and he is working to bring us back toward healing this land. If not we are in trouble.  The divisiveness will continue. The disrespect towards our police and elected officials will continue. The only answer for this nation is God himself, no politician from either party is going to fix this nation. Perhaps that is why God has given us a Democrat no matter who gets elected. If this nation turns around, it will be God that does it and not Donald or Hillary.  Perhaps God has given us the bottom of the barrel politically to show us, it is he that will fix this nation.  Unless God has mercy on us we are in big trouble. Common sense seems to have died with some of the laws and policies being put in place.  We have many in this nation calling evil good and good evil. I get into trouble for saying this but BLM is just another terrorist group like the KKK, just a different color. We need God. We really need God to intervene in this nation. God help us.  A smiling crooked politician is still a crooked politician. I think of that commercial, a smiling cheater is still a cheater. I don't care how smoothly they lie. We still need God.  I will vote, I do not like the choices but I will vote and hold my nose shut. I will pick what I think is the lesser of two evils.  God help us.  God bless, LVZ.

The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will. Proverbs 21:1.  I really don't understand what is happening in our country.  I think for several elections I have heard this is our last chance to turn things around. You could hear similar words from both sides. What it tells me is people are looking for a political solution to our problems. There is not a political solution. It does not seem to matter who is in charge, we seem to be going down hill. We are calling evil good and good evil. We have people attacking our police and think they are doing good. We have a group called Black Lives Matter and they destroy black businesses as well as others. They protest when a black man is shot by police in the performance of their duties. the man has been a lawbreaker and that is why he is being arrested in the first place, but they will destroy a policeman's life rather than listen to what really happened. A few blocks away an innocent black child is gunned down in a drive by shooting and no protest. There is no political solution for what is happening in our nation. Unless God moves the heart of our ruler we will see more of the same. There is a small segment of our population that seems to be getting things done in their favor at the expense of the safety of even our women and children. It doesn't make sense. Our nation is sick, our people are angry and we vote out of anger. On one side a lawbreaker is the front runner and it could very well be that she ends up serving time after she is elected. On the other side is a bully and seems to know what to say to stir up peoples anger and is the front runner on the Republican side in spite of being a life long Democrat. It doesn't make sense, how did he even get to be the front runner. He doesn't understand the Bible at all, don't even know if he read it. He called 2nd Corinthians / two Corinthians. We need God in our nation. God is the answer, he is the only answer. It will not matter who is elected if God moves.  I don't understand what is happening, but God does what God is going to do in spite of secular rulers. He may be allowing us to go through these times to turn our hearts back to him.  We need to pray for our country. There are Christians at my church that have their IPhone alarm set at 7:14 am and pm and all the sudden you will hear alarms going off at that time. It is a call to prayer for our nation. It references 2 Chronicles 7:14 that says: if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  That is what our nation needs is Christians calling out to God on behalf of our country.  Franklin Graham is going around our country to each state capitol calling us to pray for our nation in his Decision America Tour.  We need to pray that God will heal our land. We need to repent and turn from our wicked ways.  God is the only answer for this nation. It will not happen in the political arena. Seek God and repent individually and nationally for our sins. That is the only way our land will be healed.  God bless, LVZ.

I have two sites I blog on. This site http://lvzpage.blogspot.com/ and lvzpage.com a word press site. They work differently and this site still has spell checker which I use frequently. I thought LVZPAGE.COM would be easier to locate but that doesn't seem to be the case. Perhaps it is because this is the site I started on.    I aggravate people from time to time with my opinions. Who doesn't. It seems our society wants everyone to think the same. We say we want to be tolerant and allow people to be themselves but that is not the case. Just look at face book, it seems you don't have to go down very many comments before it gets ugly.  This blog is partly to witness to those that may read my blog. Partly to just voice my opinion.  I don't think I set out to aggravate people, it just seems so many are intolerant anymore if you say something they disagree with.  I do not want to discuss what I write so I do not voice my opinion on face book. I do not like public arguments. You are welcome to comment. I just don't want people tearing me down because they don't like what I write.  Move on and don't read me if it offends you. I have some people on face book I follow and I like a lot of their stuff but many times the language gets bad. I've suggested to some that I would like for them to clean up their language and they are right, I can unfriend them.  I think you can disagree with someone and not get ugly about it. I write a lot about Christianity, what it means to me, what a particular verse means to me or blog about a specific subject that caught my attention on the news, newspaper, in a sermon or perhaps even in a book I am reading. I want to voice my opinion, I don't mean to offend. I would really like to impact our world in a positive manner. Christianity seems to be under fire right now. Perhaps that is why I feel it so important to write. Cops are under attack right now, I want to voice my support for our officers.  Sometimes when I read stuff on face book I wonder what happened to common sense. I recently read about a congress woman that is a big defender of the right to carry and to be armed, but I thought she was crazy when she felt she had the right to draw her weapon if the police drew theirs on her. And stated this publicly. I disagree and think she is crazy. It is a mad mad world but what I feel the world really needs is Jesus.  God bless, LVZ.
