Trump
Everyday I read or hear Trump leading in the polls. I wonder, if that many Americans are that stupid. Talk about being political, he sounds like a spoiled brat that is going to throw a temper tantrum when he doesn't win. IF he should somehow actually win the Republican nomination, I will probably just stay home and not vote. Now that I said it, I know it is the wrong thing to do, so I would go to the voting booth and write in Ben Carson. His clips that stick in my mind: "Hold that book up, that's my 2nd favorite book, you know what my favorite book is? The Bible! When I look at his actions, like during the debate, will you support the eventual nominee? It depends on how they treat me, yet he treats everyone with disrespect and ridicule. Makes me think he has never even read the Bible. That to me shows how political he really is. He does not sound like an outsider, that was a statement to get the religious right on his side. I believe Ben Carson reads his Bible and I believe he probably tries to live by it. But Trump, he knows the right thing to say to touch a nerve in many Americans. Would Trump be a good leader? I seriously doubt it, he needs to understand the will of the people, not manipulate them. When he first announced his run for the Presidency, I didn't even listen to it until days later. And then only because I was criticized for not doing so, and basing an opinion on him and not having listened to him. I already figured he would be all about himself and his accomplishments. He is not a servant minded person. He is about his name and how great he is. Everything I have heard from him since has not changed my opinion of him even a small amount. Actually, my opinion of him is gotten worse, each time I hear him open his mouth. We need a President who will think and then speak, sounds like Ben Carson. The more I hear, the more I feel my first impression was right, don't even listen to him. As for Ben Carson, he may not be eloquent, he may hesitate, and I think that is because he actually thinks before he opens his mouth. We need someone with integrity and good judgement, that sounds like Ben Carson. If we want someone who is not a political insider, that again sounds like Ben Carson and not Donald Trump. I sometimes wonder if Trump and Hillary made a deal before the election cycle started. Trump: I'll run as a Republican and mess it up on the Republican side. If I don't win the nomination, I'll run as an independent and sway many voters away from the Republican candidate. If Trump ends up as a Republican nominee or runs as an independent, don't say I didn't warn you. He sounds like a spoiled Brat, not a President. God bless LVZ.
