Your Just Like Your Dad

As I thought about these words that were spoken recently, I thought about my heavenly Father. What a compliment that is to be told you are just like your Dad. My Heavenly Father is the one I want to be like. He always has my best interest at heart. He always does what is best for me. He said in his word I will never leave you nor forsake you. Lo I am with you always. He is the father to the fatherless. He is a defender of widows. He will find you in the lowest hell and bring you out. There is no mountain to tall he cannot find you. Though a mother forget her suckling child, yet my heavenly father will not forget me. He allowed Job to be tried and told Satan, this is my child, there is none like him. You can afflict him  but do not harm a hair on his head, he is my child. When Job's trial was over, God blessed him more than before. My heavenly Father loves with an unconditional loves that cannot compare to anything else we experience. He sees through any hurt and brings us out. My Heavenly Father cannot be compared to any father on earth.  To be told I am like my father is the biggest compliment one can be given. Oh if it were only true in the deepest sense of those words. But at last I realize I too am like my earthly father, imperfect at best. But still my heavenly father sees me through his Son Jesus Christ, and loves me for who I really am.  Oh, I wish those words were true about me and my Heavenly Father, But it is, I have been forgiven, I have been washed in the blood of Jesus. I am made in the likeness of my Heavenly Father, a spiritual being, I am like a chip off the block of my heavenly Father.  God bless, LVZ.
