The Last Time*

I am seeing some people that I have worked with for many years for the last time, this side of heaven. I hope I have been a blessing. I hope I will be missed. For the most part, I have done the best I knew. What's done is done. The most important thing is have I been pleasing to God? That is what really matters. My hope is that I have been a blessing. My hope is that I have pointed someone the way to salvation. That is the most important thing I could have done. Any effect I had on Boeing and building airplanes is secondary to pointing someone to Christ and the pardon of their sins. My life is not over, I am finishing a chapter and turning a page to a new chapter. I feel I am in God's will. I do not know what is ahead. I have thought on and searched info thru the 2000 census since 2001 for Mississippi. Why I do not know, but I did. I have planned to retire and move south for many years. People talk about the heat, the bugs, the snakes, the humidity, tornados, etc. I don't really know why I chose Mississippi. I do know the Bible says "the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord." I have tried to be a good man, I have tried to be a good husband, I have tried to be a good Father, I have tried to be a good employee. Almost 32 years is over tomorrow. I do not yet know how it will feel to walk out those doors for the last time. To see people for the last time this side of heaven. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. this country needs a change*

I hear / see so much stuff passed along like every election. Christians pass it on and do not even check to see if it is true or not. Just because you see it on the internet does not make it true. Romans 13:1,3: "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. 3. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil." It doesn't matter which candidate wins, this country will still be in trouble. We are looking for a solution to come from Washington D.C. That is not where it will come from. II Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land." This country needs the healing that will only come from God. It does not matter if Obama wins a second term or if Romney wins his first. This country is in trouble and only God can heal this country. We should not slander anyone, even a presidential candidate. If we pass on untruths just because it supports our thinking or the candidate we believe is best for this country, is it not slander? I am a conservative and will most likely vote that way. But if I pass on internet junk that I have no way of knowing if it is true or not, and it is actually false, would I not be slandering even though I don't know for sure? We are so divided in this country and we pass on so much junk on the internet. Liberals think a conservative cannot think for themselves. Conservatives think Liberals are idiots and on it goes. We hurt each other with the words we say. The real answer for this country and for us is found in II Chronicles 7:14. God Bless, LVZ.
